Hero Destini 110 Classique Edition: 5 Things to Know
A scooter does not always need a completely new engine or a long list of additional features to get a fresh identity. Sometimes, a different colour combination and a few carefully chosen design details can make it stand out. Hero MotoCorp has introduced the Destini 110 Classique Edition in India at Rs 76,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Designed around a neo-retro look, this festive-season edition gets two new dual-tone colour options and exclusive styling details. But is there more to it than its refreshed appearance? Its design, comfort features, storage and familiar 110cc engine are worth exploring before considering it for everyday use.
A Fresh Look With Retro Styling
The biggest attraction of the Hero Destini 110 Classique Edition is its refreshed appearance. It combines a familiar scooter design with retro-inspired styling elements. The new edition gets updated stripes on the front handle cover and side panels, colour-coordinated mirrors and seats, and a dedicated 3D Classique Edition emblem. Branded rim tape adds another styling detail. These changes give the scooter a different identity while keeping its existing overall design intact.
Two New Colour Options
Hero has introduced two dual-tone colour combinations for the Classique Edition. The first option pairs Matt Goldfish Silver with Light Industrial Grey and brown inner panels. The second combines Matt Aries Brown with black inner panels. Both options get matching design elements, including coloured mirrors and coordinated seats. These combinations give buyers a choice between a lighter, more understated appearance and a darker, richer finish.
A Seat Designed for Family Comfort
Comfort is an important consideration for family scooter buyers, especially when two people regularly travel together. The Destini 110 Classique Edition retains a 785mm-long seat, which Hero claims is the longest in its segment. It also offers spacious legroom and an integrated pillion backrest on the higher-spec equipment package. The 12-inch wheels at both ends and wider 100/80-12 rear tyre add to its everyday riding setup.
Storage Features for Daily Convenience
Carrying groceries, a handbag or small everyday essentials becomes easier when a scooter offers practical storage. The Destini 110 Classique Edition comes with 19 litres of under-seat storage, along with a front storage compartment that offers mobile charging provision. A boot lamp is also available to help riders find their belongings in low-light conditions. These features make the scooter suitable for regular shopping trips, office commutes and other everyday journeys.
The Familiar 110cc Engine Continues
Despite the new styling, Hero has not introduced a different engine for the Classique Edition. It continues with the existing 110cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine and Hero's i3S Idle Stop-Start System. The original Destini 110's claimed fuel efficiency was 56.2 kmpl, although actual mileage depends on riding conditions, traffic and maintenance. The special edition focuses on giving buyers a fresh design rather than changing the scooter's mechanical package.
Price and Availability
Hero MotoCorp has launched the Destini 110 Classique Edition at Rs 76,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter is available through the company's dealerships in India. Since this is a special edition with primarily cosmetic changes, buyers should compare its price with the existing Destini 110 variants before making a decision. The final on-road price will vary depending on the city, insurance, registration and applicable charges
