While combing our hair everyday, some hair falls in our comb, but this is a natural process of our body. But if more than a hundred hairs fall, then it should not be considered normal. Then you must be facing the problem of hair loss. So, what should you do to stop hair loss and regrow hair? The solution to your hair loss lies in Ayurveda. Unbalanced diet and excessive consumption of junk food are the most common causes of hair loss. Stress, anxiety and disturbed sleep also cause hair loss. According to Ayurveda, all the above habits cause Pitta dosha. Therefore, hair fall occurs due to Pitta dosha. Therefore, hair fall is caused by Pitta dosha. If your Pitta is vitiated, it causes the hair follicles to overheat, resulting in weak and brittle hair and slow hair growth.

Common Ayurvedic Causes of Hair Fall:

1. Imbalance doshas

If there is a prominent Vata Dosha has excessively dry, frizzy and brittle hair. An imbalance in the Pitta dosha causes your hair to become thin and wrinkled. The heat in the scalp causes the hair to change color. If Kapha dosha is dominant, the hair becomes excessively oily and sticky, which can cause blockage in the hair follicles of your scalp. This leads to hair fall.

2. Poor digestion and toxin buildup (Ama)

in Ayurveda Ama is not a single substance but rather a state of impaired digestion and metabolism. It's essentially the undigested food that remains in the body, not fully absorbed or eliminated. Poor digestion, primarily due to Agnimandya (weakened digestive fire), is the main cause of Ama.

3. Stress and lifestyle factors

Stress significantly impacts lifestyle factors, and poor lifestyle choices can exacerbate stress levels. Work pressure, financial difficulties, lack of sleep, unhealthy eating, and lack of exercise. All these factors lead to excess toxin in the body.
