- Ingredients (For 6–7 Tikkis)
Sweet Potato Tikki

  • 2 medium-sized sweet potatoes (boiled & mashed)
  • ½ cup mixed dry fruits (almonds, cashews, raisins, finely chopped)
  • 1 green chili (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper powder
  • ½ teaspoon chaat masala
  • Fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour (binding)
  • Salt as per taste
  • 2–3 tablespoons ghee or oil (for shallow frying)


- Method
Sweet Potato Tikki

  • Prepare the Mixture
  • In a bowl, mash boiled sweet potatoes until smooth.
  • Add chopped dry fruits, green chili, cumin powder, black pepper, chaat masala, coriander leaves, salt, and cornflour.
  • Mix well to form a soft dough-like mixture.


2. Shape the Tikkis

Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into round, flat tikkis.


3. Cook the Tikkis
  • Heat a pan with ghee or oil.
  • Shallow fry the tikkis on medium heat until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
